About me

I'm Ignacio, a cryptography specialist, software developer and architect. Most of my work is with organisations that need to modernise legacy systems without breaking what already works, and with teams that need someone to design, review or implement cryptographic systems correctly. I'm also the founder of Axoly Tech, and I coach IT freelancers in Belgium starting or growing their own practice. You can see the main missions and projects I've worked on here.

What I care about

I care about technology that respects people and the planet. I speak about this from time to time, you can see where on the events page. I also deeply believe that the current digital world needs more diversity and that we need to protect our privacy from data extraction and exploitation.

Outside of work

When I'm not working, I'm usually somewhere in the mountains, hiking or training for my next trail running race. I write about that to on my personal page axokoi.com. That's my place of exploration and testing.
